Why it's built this way
Session length and time to beat are different quantities. Filter a backlog to "games under two hours" and everyone gets the same three short indies forever, and never the 55-hour RPG they are 40 hours into.
So session length re-weights and never filters. Each game carries a session fit of high, medium or low, derived from its genres and keywords. Roguelikes, racing, fighting and puzzle games are high. RPGs, strategy and long narrative adventures are low. Games you are already playing rank higher, because resuming beats starting. Size is the separate "how big a commitment" question.
Platform means "playable on the console in front of you", taken from the catalog's platform links, not from what you tagged.
Limits
Session fit is a genre heuristic, not a measured property of the game.
