Deleting your account

Two ways in

• In the app: Profile, then Delete account. You type a confirmation word first.
• On the web: at /delete-account. You sign in with a six-digit code emailed to you, then confirm.

Both call the same backend function. If you cannot sign in, email support@prysmblast.com and the request is handled within 30 days.

What is removed

   Your images

   Profile pictures and post images are deleted from storage.

   Your subscription record

   Your customer record is deleted from RevenueCat, which handles purchases.

   Your account

   The sign-in account is deleted, and the database removes everything tied to it.

That last step cascades. Your library, wishlist, posts, comments, likes, follows, notifications, platform connections, browsing history and profile all go, and so do rows that other people hold about you, such as their follow of you or a notification about you.

Subscriptions

Deleting an account cannot stop the App Store or Google Play from charging you. Apple does not let a developer cancel a customer's subscription, and Google's cancellation needs a separate service that Prysm does not use.

So when an account has an active subscription, deletion pauses. You are shown where to cancel it, and you can go and do that first or choose to continue anyway. It is never a dead end, but it is never silent either. To cancel, use your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

The web page can't create accounts

The sign-in on the deletion page is set so it can only sign in to an account that exists. Typing an unknown address does not create one. Your session lives in memory and is gone when the tab closes.
