What Backloggd does well
Backloggd is a popular website with a large community. You can log what you play, rate and review games, build lists, keep a play journal and follow friends, all from any browser. If you mostly log games at a computer and read other people’s reviews, it is a great fit.
What Prysm does differently
- It’s a native phone app. Prysm is built for iPhone and Android, the device you have in your hand when you hear about a game.
- Save games from videos. Share a TikTok or YouTube link and Prysm finds the game, then adds it once you confirm.
- Import your Steam library. Connect Steam and your owned games arrive with hours played.
- Decide what to play. Roulette deals one game from your backlog that fits the time you have tonight.
- Release-day alerts. Watch an upcoming game and get a notification on the day it comes out, only when the day has actually been announced.
Like Letterboxd, for games, in your pocket
Mark games Playing, Backlog, Completed or Paused, rate them out of 10, post reviews for your friends, and see what they are playing in your feed. Prysm is free for a library of up to 50 games, and Prysm Pro, an optional subscription, removes the limit.
